The PE set I bought is for the VIID version and we purchased the VIIC version.
I am noticing that there are some parts that won’t go on the C version.

Yeah, my PE set "£24" just isn't going to work. The kit has more details than the PE!! One for future builds hopefully. Pantherman

I just saw this thread and most likely not going to make this group build. However, I have a Submarine in the works and will restart it after recovery from my spine surgery tomorrow. Here are a few pics. I also bought the PE set and have starting the con and will post them later.

Hey guys. My kit arrived finally this morning. Seems like UPS delivered to house next door on Friday and neighbors were out of town until this morning. Neighbor txt me saying he put it in my back porch.
I’ll crack it open and start building tonight. I still need to order some paint. But I’ll at least get everything primed.
I like PM idea of lights for interior. Just don’t know how to go about it.

This is my first ICM kit and it looks pretty nice. Couple different options for conning towers depending on which U-boat you want. I'll be doing U-23.
