Hello Model Builders
another of my collections Ifinished this one 8 months ago I had this kit all those years from the year of 1980 when the kit was first released to the modeling community. This the 1/72 scale version of monograms massive B36 Peacemaker . along with the Hobby Boss B24 It is a massive kit to behold For the finishing I covered this model with Reynolds wrap kitchen foil shiney side up by following the panel lines on the kit I reproduced the real effect of aluminum as the light hits it you can see different shades of the aluminum. Again I built the model with removable wings for storage its now hanging from the ceiling in my hobby room Again like to than k everyone here for thier views and comments

Looks shiny! I had wondered if aluminum foil could be used. I'll have to look into this.

They make metal foils for modeling purposes, considerably thinner than the kitchen version, think of things used centuries ago like "gold leaf", just silver.

I shudder to think what it would take to cover the square-feet involved here, but maybe a 1/48 Mustang would be surmountable.
