Very simple kit. Started it this eve because I ran across it in my stash and wanted to build a Hawker and wanted something quick. I fought like crazy to get the pilot seat etc in the cockpit, modified a couple things and finally got it how I wanted. Then I looked at the directions again and realized why it was so difficult. Apparently I was supposed to mount the pilot to the seat and install that into the cockpit and then add the floor. I had simply mounted the chair to the floor out of habit so when I was looking at the instructions it wasn't registering that the floor was not attached to the seat.

Good start!
You're right, it's a simple kit. I built one a few years back that I got as a bagged kit, no decals, no instructions. I sourced decals, but built it without instructions. The only tricky part was installing the landing gear. The parts left and right are identical, but they are "handed" and it is possible to install them on the wrong side. I caught it when looking at Squadron's "Typhoon in Action" and avoided a potential mistake.

I look forward to seeing your progress on this one! You can move quickly to painting.

Best regards,
Brad

Thanks I'll have to slow down and be careful with that.

A bit more done. Put varnish coat on today and painted base for exhaust. Another simple kit. Nice looking plane.

Wrapped this up tonight. This is heavily weathered for me.

Just looked at your thread on the Typhoon Ron and it really looks good! It is my all time favorite WW II plane, a real BEAST. I had an RC one with about a 55" wingspan but had issues finishing it due to CG problems with that short nose.
On my card I purposely chose the Typhoon silhouette and ask people to identify it. Almost everyone does a quick "P-40 Warhawk". Few ever guess it.
Great build, Thanks!
