Another old bagged kit I have that I want to knock out. I'll probably just blast it overall boring blue and slap on minimal decals, if the kit decals are still good.

Yup, I've got some to try myself. Apparently the cat's pajamas for aircraft decals.
How do you know when it's dry enough? And you sprayed right over the canopy masks?
It dries to touch pretty quick but I usually give it a couple days at least for safe measure, seems to work for me. Yes, right over the masks, but I go a little heavier where the decals will go, lighter over the other areas, like canopy. I usually do two thin coats for decal prep, then another thin coat a few days after the decals have set.

Who's product?
Decal hygiene...
I've yet to try my bottle of Microscale, pretty happy with their other Set and Sol products.
I guess I've not had to use really old decals yet.

The Tamiya is marketed as a softening adhesive, dunno if that is their version of the Micro Sol.

Had mixed results with the Testers, printing my own Ink jet decals.

The AK anti-shine worked great on silvering, which I didn'teven know was a thing until I became active here last Christmas; so much so that now I want to go back and fix my early models!
