Not here yet, will take until April 6th due to being purchased from Japan. I just wanted to share the limited time price of about half what these kits usually cost, if you don't mind the slow shipping.

I'm working on my ZM f4e. You know what's funny? I asked my phone about SEA Camo colors for Tamia paint and I must have gotten four variants. So anyways I headed to Andy's to stock up on some paint and saw the box with the B3 inside it sitting on the shelf. I thought it was just the interior so I asked the guy there do you have the plane that this goes into? He said that's the whole thing. I was like really? So I looked inside. Lots of parts and they look pretty detailed and for 40 bucks? Why not? Actually like 37 but we don't worry about pennies anymore. He said you should check this out. Showed me the HS 129 box he said you get the two airplanes and a panther tank and two crewman. For $79. Sold.

Some great subject matter you picked up Rob!

I wish I lived that close to a major LHS. "Lion Heart" is about an hour away, guess I shouldn't bish too much.

It is nice having Andy's close by. I also have Hobby Bench closer and they have a okay selection but just okay. They're more concentrating on RC. And this isn't even the huge store he opened up just a little while ago down south of me. I hear it's really nice and I haven't been there yet it's about I would say a good half an hour away. But all freeway for me. I hear he's going to close the smaller store but until he does I like the guy that runs it. X-marine vet.

The guy working there did say that when these first came out they were a big hit. He said everyone wanted them you know the box set and he said all of a sudden it just tapered off and boom nothing. But yes great subject matter. And I haven't even seen what scale mates says about it either

Just got home last night from the HeritageCon 18 Model Show at The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum outside of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. A great show with a lot of vendors! Kudos to the IPMS Hamilton chapter for putting on such a great event. I'm already planning on going back next year.

Above photo is of only a portion of the show.
I have to confess that the following thought occurred to me while checking out the 100+ vendors; what is really going on at the show is that one group of modellers is really paying another group of modellers to move a stash of kits from one basement to another basement, and both groups are happy with the exchange!
The additional benefit of attending the show was that I was able to take detailed photos of a number of the real planes that are in the hopper for construction this year. Kudos to Brian, a crew member of the B-25, who saw me taking photos of the B-25 and spent about 40 minutes guiding me around the plane and answering my many questions. It turns out the markings on the plane were painted on by brush! Now I will need to add brush strokes to the markings when I build the kit.

For my part I believe I showed great restraint and ended up walking away with some decals and the following two kits:

My brother flew the Hawk for years as a tactics instructor, so I thought it was a worthy subject.
I've come to really appreciate the Lyslander after reading about them being used to insert agents and equipment into Europe during WW II. Those pilots had to have had a lot of guts to fly into occupied France, at night, and land on a farmer's field that they had never seen before (in the dark), all the time trusting that they weren't flying into a trap.

I recieved a delivery from Andy's Hobby Headquarters today......

I have never built a Classy Hobby kit, or even heard of them before. The kit has made a good first impression on me. I like the detailed instruction booklet.
It won't be in my stash for long, it is next in line once my current diorama is completed.

I've picked up a few in the past month. A 1/32 trumpeter p40f to add to my p40 collection. Because I'm reading squadron 303 I picked up an Eduard spitfire with 303 markings and three polish birds. The 1/72 pzl is so tiny! These are my first IBG kits seem like good detail!
