I hear you. I don't know about where you're at but I'm pretty lucky to have found that even though the pilots all said they didn't like flying it. Too much left rudder with all that wing on one side. All kidding aside. That's a nice kit huh? Foam wheel well masks PE and resin parts and canopy masks and framable pictures inside. I was impressed and I haven't even started it. I got to finish this F4 first

Yeah, I'm very happy with mine too, no idea when I'll get started on mine. Currently building an Eduard Bf109 G6, then an A-10C, then a F15E maybe after those? So many to choose from...

I was looking at reviews of this kit. Sounds like if you take your time and fix a couple issues it turns out a really nice plane. Just watch your propellers and don't install them running backwards

The decal instructions explain the backward props. Just need to reverse them and make a new shaft.

I've built this kit. You are going to love it. My only regret? I wish I would have waited until I knew a lot more about building models and especially the airbrush.

I was between the one you got and the one I got. But I like the Black Lions squadron colors and insignia the best so I went with that. Plus I don't have room for what I got let alone finding room for the deck sheet.

For my T6 medium tank, making the side doors by hand wasn't too successful, so I asked on another forum if someone who owns a cutting plotter or something would be willing to lend a hand. One reply offered to make them on a laser cutter for me, so after sending him an Illustrator file based on original design drawings for the M3A1 medium tank's doors (which appear to have the same curve), now I have not two but two times nine laser-cut doors

I'm really looking forward to this one. I've got to do a little research just to make sure that the two vehicles were ever together on the battlefield but I'd like to put this into a field workshop diorama with a Panzer IV.

This is what I got from a search.

A Werkstattkraftwagen (workshop motor vehicle) was frequently used in the field to support Panzer IV tanks during World War II.
These specialized vehicles were essential for maintaining the combat readiness of Panzer units, providing on-the-spot repairs, and managing minor mechanical failures or battle damage, such as broken tracks, suspension issues, or power train problems.
Key details regarding field repairs of the Panzer IV include:

• Maintenance Structure: A Panzer Maintenance Company (part of the Panzer regiment) operated specialized workshop trucks to repair tanks directly in the field, often working within 15–20 miles of the fighting.
• Scope of Repairs: These field teams could handle repairs taking up to 12 hours, such as replacing bogey units, repairing engine deck cooling fans, and fixing track damage.
• Types of Vehicles: The Werkstattkraftwagen units were part of a larger maintenance apparatus, which often included recovery vehicles, such as the later war Bergepanzer IV, a turretless Panzer IV chassis converted for towing.
• Field Modifications: Because of the constant need for repairs, mechanics often used unconventional methods in the field, such as shortening broken tracks to ensure the tank remained mobile.
