Paint for the K2 Black Panther, and on the site where I ordered that, I found a brand I didn't know called Toucan, which has crew figures and accessories for the US Navy twin Bofors gun by Zimi:

I don't have that Bofors, but I do have a twin 40 mm MGMC M19A1 by Bronco in my stash, and those figures should be useful for that too with some minor changes:

The ammunition sets are quite extensive:

On the back of the packaging, as I suspected, it's clear that Toucan is just a brand name under which Zimi releases these.

Just ordered two more kits. Both 1:144 scale bombers. Academy B1-B and GWH B-52.

My Dad has a patent on the fuel system on the B1-B so that one has special meaning. I have two friends who flew B-52's. One was a pilot over Nam and the other an EWO over Afghanistan.

I REALLY need to spend more time building. This stash is getting out of hand.

A Tempest (one of the best piston driven fighters ever) is on my list. I'd love to see your build detailed here...PLEASE?
Yes I will. That is the next step for me: being brave and actually showing progress on my very slow builds. I have developed a bit of a love affair with Tempest 2. I also have 1:48 Special Hobby Tempest Mk.II in the post. I really intended to resist buying any more kits this month... but I really want to build both an aluminium lacquer/Bare metal example and a 3 colour RAF example. I'd mistakenly assumed the Ultimate Tempest was a typical Eduard Limited Edition, in which parts for 2 aircraft are included

Speaking only for myself, but I suspect I am not alone...

I enjoy the in-progress stuff more than the finished results, at least in most cases. I also like seeing the mistakes, I've shared lots of mine. Those mistakes and the recovery from them are the best. One, it helps others avoid them and two, it helps keep people from trashing a kit due to errors
:)
