Picked up the Jungle Jim and the US Marines funny cars at Hobbylinc. I traded a friend of mine a "King Chopper ll" that I also got at Hobbylinc for one of his two Green Elephant kits.

My stash has gotten out of hand. I planned a lot of building for 2025, but my new job wore me out. I have a car, M10, 3 1/144 scale bombers, a "very special" WWI kit all left over from last year.

My son and his family gave me a gift certificate to an online shop and it arrived today. I also ordered the book on the Swordfish and have a few detail add-ons for it that should arrive in a day or two. I will probably build a couple of the 1/144 bombers and maybe the car to get back in the building groove, then the Swordfish followed by the WWI project.

Did find this, which I could not resist.
I started this kit for the Cargo Truck Group Build. It ended up in the bin. Very thin, fragile pieces. They snap very easily.
Good luck with this one. Hope you have more patience than I did.
I will be watching when you decide to build it.

I really do appreciate the warning. Not what this clumsy guy wanted to hear at all.
Already ordered a detail kit, so I'll have to give it a go. Wish me luck.

I saw pictures of trucks like these from my grandfather's Army National Guard days in 1916. He was sent with a bunch of guard units from all over the country in 1916 when Poncho Villa raided the border towns in Texas and New Mexico. His "supreme commander" was General Blackjack Pershing. I think his first encampment was in Columbus New Mexico.
