I'm in the process of building the 1/35 Tamiya Blitz for this GB; it will have a Einheitshangar trailer as towed load with CITB in both. I can't post photo's at the moment as my Chromebook isn't playing ball - however, 'er indoors is
going to see if she can sort it out for me! Nice job on the mini by the way!

The driver might work in the motor pool, but MiniArt could've paid him a little more respect: compared to the fine job they did on the truck, he's gonna need a whole lot of cleanup!

Started final paint. Brush. Washes. More to do. Doors and hood temp placement.

Still to build: grill with lotsa fancy bending of PE, headlamps, windows.
On screen, I can see I need to even out bed panels and tone down running board rusty discoloration.

I had to take a step back after snapping off the passenger mirror...again.
Tried to repair it yesterday morning. But when my frustration level started rising quickly, I turned off the light and walked away.
We put the top down on the convertible, (near 70º), and went out for lunch, then a nice drive.
Football today, and back at it tomorrow.

After several days/hours/minutes of frustration, the passenger mirror is back.
It isn't perfect, and still needs a little cleanup, but it'll do.
It's the kind of thing a normal visitor will never notice, but of course, I always will.

So the instructions are a little vague... the door stars actually overlap the sill, so they need to be cut if the doors are open!

Lucky I noticed before trying to install them!

A smidge lower on the door, because I was reluctant to try cutting a sliver off the edge of the roundel...
But all the decals are on!

You could just have moved it up a little, of course. I doubt they were in exactly that position on all trucks, so if you're building it as a generic example rather than trying to replicate a specific real vehicle, everything would be fine if you just have all of the star on the door.

IRL, of course, they just put a spray template on the vehicle without looking too closely if it was fully on the door or not.

Finally did a little today...
Touched up the start of the camo, (still two colors to go).
Some gloss on the interior for decals, (maybe tomorrow).
Wheels and tires are about ready.
Got my sticky pad today.
