You know? Darn canopies. That's my kryptonite. The only time they really look good is when mask sets come with the kit or I leave the canopy off on airplanes and such until done. Maybe if I clean them real good before I mask them? Do you guys dip them in future or something first? That way they don't get all grungy? I mean come on man, my painting is getting better and better and my canopies make me look like I'm 8 years old with a tube of testers glue in my hand

After analyzing the situation and how I do canopies I realize that it's the way I glue. I use a toothpick or something and just put a dot here or there, put on the window and call it good even though I mask it. Because when I go to paint or clear coat or wash it seeps in there because there's no barrier. No glue barrier to prevent liquid from getting in. So the next canopy I'm going to make sure I cover the entire frame so that it's water tight.

Think I've settled on the cargo for my Chevy!

What an odd mirror supports, but it turns out they really were like that. BTW, you could also have removed the one on the right entirely and put a mounting for an M60 machine gun on the mudguard instead :)

Well, I thought I could use Micro Kristal Klear for the windshield, but I couldn't get it to cover the gap. Might be my bottle is a bit old and too thick. Took some effort to get it all cleaned out. Now I have to figure a way to cut some clear acetate to fit and then somehow attach it.

Wow, never attempted an opening that wide!
For acetate, tape pushed against the opening for template dimensions?
How do you get a shape to fit?
I've done a window of similar size, but it was oval so that may have helped. I'll have to experiment with the acetate.

post a closeup pic of that firewall

is that a body control module on the driver's side ?
that thing has power windows and anti-theft ,, that's dope

HO OO HO, just in time for Christmas!

Are those 1"squares on the matt?!
I'd forgotten how small this was, hence the Krystal Klear... nicely done!

I'd have loved to have that as a kid with my Airfix soldier sets!
Yeah, the truck is about 3 inches.
For the windshield I ended up cutting a piece of acetate to (somewhat) fit. I used the Kristal Klear on the wind wings.
