Hi guys, what are the hole's in the base of the cab floor for? Don't think I have missed anything so should I have filled them? Pantherman

Looking good. I may have made a mistake with mine as I thought I would try to match the paint job of the TV car which has 4 doors in white, it won't have the door definitions but hopefully from a distance it might look like a 4 door car. Pantherman
I considered taking the white back to the front of the rear wheel well but didn't think it would look right.

Think I will give it a go as I can always correct it later if not. Black is so much easier to spray over white than the other way round. Pantherman

Thank you. After looking at the pictures I am contemplating chrome around the windows.
I might use my chrome pens on my cans and siren. I've seen some of the light cans black with a chrome edging on front and back and the call number on the side of the can.

Speaking of holes. I'm probably going to file down and cover the stick shift and add a shifter onto the steering column.
I'm going to photoshop the side of the car with just the door white and then having white back to wheel well. I will share when done
I have the chassis finished, I want to give the transmission and oil pan a little wash.
Normally I would have drilled holes on the exhaust pipes, but I'll just paint them black.

That actually makes the car. Look very good. I think I'll be copying yours.
I just finished painting the seats and dash. I found that the Dunkel Gelb makes for a nice tanish color. To make it more tan I'll probably shoot a light brown wash over it to soften the harsh yellow.
I did sand out the stick shifter boot and filled It with sprue goo.
I noticed that the floorboard is black so ill do that. I have a small box that I'll use for the radio. If i cannot find anything I can use as a mic then that will be OK.
I can only vaguely remember dad's first patrol car because i was just barely a toddler.

i love reminiscing, but sometimes it makes me sad, because I don't have my dad anymore and I really miss him, terribly.
Even though it's been 10 years I still keep some of his text messages from my wedding day and I keep his cell number in this phone.
Sorry for rambling on.
