Great build and thanks for the tips along the way. And a tidy bench as well !!!
We will certainly have to do another joint / multi build in the future.
Pantherman.
I feel I should've slowed down on this build and we all could've finished together.
Once I start it's difficult for me to stop. LOL

It's good to have a bit of knowledge about the build before you have to build it yourself. I'm not that far from the finish line so we can get the next one sorted out !!!!

Almost forgot about the siren and lights as well. Pantherman
Need some advice please. Never really done a shiny finish before as the armour is usually matt and covered in mud anyway. So I'm happy with the glossy finish and mottled look but should I really sand it all down and go for glossy flat finish? Tell me what you think and don't hold back with your comments.

Probably not the best photos as did them in the spray booth so they show the reflection.

That is a nice clean paint job. Well done

I've been going through some difficult times for the last few weeks resulting in the lack of building.
Eventually I will complete this build, it's just going to take a little longer than I have anticipated.

I am enjoying seeing the progression from the both of you. Both models are looking so good.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Remember that "this too shall pass".
I look forward to seeing you get back into this.
You are an Ace modeler.

I took yesterday off and today. Yesterday I didn't too much. Today I got the body painted. I sanded with a 4000 grit which I think will help the gloss coat.

I have one mishap at the fender and driver door which I'll have to spot spray tomorrow.
I added a column shift to the steering.

Tomorrow I might try to shoot a satin coat over the seats and the interior white paint.

The column shifter is a great touch. Looking good

I like the gloss.
I'm going to try the Vallejo polyurethane.

Maybe a wet sand with 2000 or 3000 grit and then a clear coat.
