True,four models to his one!
I'm still learning my way too- Picked it back up (plastic models) just over a year ago. I'm no expert, each one I've built gets a bit better, and I try new things to see how far I can get before it all comes crashing down. As I've said many times in this forum, it's about fun- and if it's pi$$ing me off, it's not fun and I step away.No. I tend to get frustrated with PE. I'm still working on getting my kits aligned, good seams etc. I'm 8-9 months into this hobby. But if you ever are bored and want to build a pair of wipers…
Oh I was joking about the four to one and it was not directed at you.I'm still learning my way too- Picked it back up (plastic models) just over a year ago. I've watched some folks make PE look so easy, (I know that's hard-earned years of experience and practice) so I hope each time I do it, I learn a little something and get better, granted some wind up being pushed off the desk into the trash-
Or 1/4 the fun because the other modeler built four models to his one!
Yeah, I average about a month for a build, sometimes more, (as in Christine), or less.
I'm amazed at how quickly some builds go, as I said, they make it look easy. I'm in no hurry to get faster- no pun intended.
Oh, of course. I wasn't taking offense, just babbling about how long I take and why.Oh I was joking about the four to one and it was not directed at you.
Such a clean and well detailed build. This one hasn't been on my radar screen to build but you make a guy want to go out and build one of these like.......now. Excellent scale modeling brother.Ok, going to call this EPIC post and model Done-
This is a nice kit, there are some issues, flash, warped/bent sprues and parts and some light fit issues, but overall a nicely detailed kit. If you're hoping to build the movie Christine, the engine is incorrect, but it doesn't matter unless it matters to you. The Model Car Garage Photo Etch set was great to add details as well.
Wow, thanks very much.Such a clean and well detailed build. This one hasn't been on my radar screen to build but you make a guy want to go out and build one of these like.......now. Excellent scale modeling brother.![]()
"Mod Podge", I use this product a lot. I dries nice and clear if left alone for a while, and won't 'melt' the paint. It comes in a dull formula as well. Then, every new CA glue I tried caused more issues than the cruddy stuff id been using.
Thank you very much. You are far too kind.A truly outstanding build. Your attention to detail, even when the thought came late, really adds to the quality of your work. Simply amazing!
