Well I think if you published what you are building it would help matters.

Lighters & preparing your own paints is , at least for me, a big turn off.

This is, a scale model making forum, I thought. All the above distracts from it.

No disrespect or rudeness but that is what I think.

I assume you found your Zippo components ?

I used to take a half dozen or more of my ship's brass Zippos ashore as currency .
They were worth many times more than the 6 dollars required to liberate them from the ship's store.
Especially in North Africa .

Lighters are ok for me as i'm smoking maniac. But when it comes to homebrewing that's not a fun for me, i hate all those chemical ****. Do you know where i live? I live in Türkiye, i buy all those modelling stuffs nearly x3 prices of US, plus some products are impossible to find on market

I've maden it. İ've been in adventure to find less volatile fuel for my zippo, found it, it screwed my cotton and wick, i replaced them after that while i was refueling my outer case vanished somehow, now i have a Zippo without an outer case.

What do you do with them? Is there a way to fill them with butane tubes?

I quit Zippo after one leaked into my pocket in like 1988 .

I loved my zippo way back when I used to smoke. But they certainly will leak.

Yeah, Zippos aren't air-tight. I have 2, real Zippos, and the wick will gradually dry out as the fuel evaporates.
