Yet another MPC Falcon

This is my Falcon, there are many like it, but this one is mine.

So I have been working on the Falcon off and on for almost a year now. I didn't do a full build log as SMA has those well in hand. This is a mostly OOB build with a few extra whatnots, dodads, and greeblies, added to the side walls. My goal was a good Falcon paint job. All testors paint, camo gray base, various other grays, dirty sludge wash, and pastels. This is by far the heaviest weathering I have ever gone for, and I love it.

For those who have yet to build one, all the bad is true. Its not correct, it does not fit, it will fight you the whole way, but ya gotta love Han's ride on the shelf.

Yes Jake, I had to hit that "what a hunk of junk" level of filth. The exhaust is very exaggerated for high contrast on the shelf.

Fantastic painting.....it just goes to show that this 35 year old kit can look as good as the FM kit when painted right
