What Polishing Compound Do You Use?

I need something to go over the final coat on a Ferrari to smooth out the last bit of dust and such before giving it a clear coat. I have 2000 grit sandpaper but I don't want to dull the surface if I can avoid it. What is your final prep solution?

Was recommended to use Novus 2 and 1 and then sand with the Micro Mesh Polishing cloths 2400 through 12000 grits. Wax with Zymol wax and then wipe down with a couple quick shots of Maguiars Quick Detail mist spray. Smooth and spit shined when finished.
