Well, managed to start these in thinking I could throw them together and it looks like it, half way through the twin build I lost interest fast but we are nearing the end
Dunno what you did with your camera settings, but when my shots show up sideways, I touch and hold on image to get the menu to download to my phone, then open the downloaded image in the viewer, rotate it and save, then delete the original and upload the new one to my post.pictures in wrong
Crazy thing is I don't believe I've changed anything....been through F-14 build and the 1/32nd scale F-4 posting the same way....thinking I'm going to hire my 17 year old as my social media managerDunno what you did with your camera settings, but when my shots show up sideways, I touch and hold on image to get the menu to download to my phone, then open the downloaded image in the viewer, rotate it and save, then delete the original and upload the new one to my post.
The other thing you can do next time is take the photo separately, then upload it in your post.
Once it is posted, you can delete the one on your phone to save space.
Good call. I worked for 35 years in UI and UX, on devices, compiled client software, web frameworks, telecom network management, medical and insurance adjudication systems... and I'm often surprised by functionality that is either undiscoverable, unintuitive or just plain unusable. So join the club.social media manager
Good sleuthing, that would do it! ...if indeed it is the issue. We can't have our planes landing sideways and halftracks belly up...which side should be "up".
And why in the heck can't I get the these photos up right
I ended up there because I had to solve that problem myself about two months agoGood sleuthing
Haha, we did something similar in art school, a self-portrait looking in a mirror with the drawing pad against our chest. The brain is forced to look
Hey there you go, there's my finished bird!! Right side up!!
That's a lot like what I discovered when writing texts: even if you've gone over it a hundred times, if you then look at it in another program, you'll probably spot a lot of things you missed. Doing this is as simple as exporting it from a word processor to a PDF and reading it in a PDF viewer, or reading it on a tablet instead of your desktop/laptop computer. Much the same for DTP: export it to PDF and you'll spot mistakes you didn't in the layout software.you've discovered a little-known valuable secret to viewing your modeling subject. Everyone always sees the world as they expect to see it and as a result, they miss actually SEEING a lot of details. By rotating a picture or photo, the unanticipated image view will reveal new details that might not have been noticed before.
Don't mind at all the sidetracking, hopefully we got it all buttoned up....preferred the Airfix over the Revell, but surprisingly the Revell had recessed panel lines and the Airfix didn't. Technically they are finished but I just removed the Revell Vigilantie's pitot tube because it was too thick and will track a suitable replacement....thanks for looking!... sorry we got a bit sidetracked with the photo orientation... looks like its been addressed; more importantly though, is the great job you did getting through this double build!
Twins present challenges all their own.
These two look great together.
... when it comes to aircraft, I know nothing, but it is interesting to watch and learn!Technically
