The adversaries face off....

Looking Good, although that is quite a few mouths you have to feed! Hope Ghidorah like the taste of Aves.

Regarding the trees... this is something you have probably already considered but i'll suggest it anyway.
Considering that these giants are stomping around in your diorama, maybe many of the trees that you model should be fallen and smashed, perhaps even burned. I don't know if this changes the way that you will model the trees and foliage but it might.
Just a thought.
I enjoy watching your progress.

Nice work on his mouths there.
And yeah, you may not be able to see it. But you, as the builder, will know the detail's there

First I want to thank everyone for the great comments!!

Hi Grendels

For your trees try the Woodland Scenic natural trees they are very effective and you can tailor them to the size you need.

I looked them up a couple of days ago. I think they look better than mine, but I still want to give my hand at making some, before I resort to them.

This is definitely on the plans. I made cast of Godzilla's and King Gidrah's feet just for that purpose! That way I can still put the models together and make foot prints! One of the reasons I want to make my own trees is so that I can scorch up a few.

Actually in two of the three you can see it. I have the jaws glued on now.

I absolutely can't wait to see the diorama start coming together.. it's going to be epic cool !
tons of details to drool over

Really looking good. I like the others cant wait to see this all come together.
Keep up the great work

Looking good. Your camera's zoom works too? I think I was able to see a cavity in Ghidorah's tooth. ;D

Thank you all for the great comments!!!

This camera has great zoom, the problem is it can't focus if it is too far from the object. It would work great if I brought the camera to the object instead. Oh well.

Its coming along Grendels, looking really good , I do admire your patience ..and skills ,and I too cant wait to see the dio ,its going to be something else :) Keep it coming .

Chris.

8) 8) 8) Thanks for making your videos of your build. Aves is amazing stuff and you can do so many things with it. Everything is coming together nicely and the details your adding with the aves is outstanding. Great job! I am looking forward to your up coming videos. 8) 8) 8)

Looks like you're progressing nicely, John.
Shame about the necks, though. Looks like they weren't paying as much attention on that part of the kit

Guess Godzilla has no chance against this guy, except with King's three brains get into a conflict and it looses the ability to move :)
Nice progress as always!

Did you try switching those 2 necks? Maybe they will go better then?
Waiting for more.
Cheers

G'Day Grendels,

As you were talking about the two heads being positioned inwards, kinda reminded me of the Scene from How to Train You Dragon, where the 2 headed dragon in a few scene's had 1 head pecking the other - like a dominate head keeping the other in line. Might be interesting to pose the outer two heads in a similar way, with the 3rd looking over the other two.

With the third head, have you thought about shaving the back upper half, just to change the joining angle to position the neck higher and out of the way of the other necks when they are posed inwards ?

First I want to thank all for the comments!!

Just did and guess what? It fixed the problem. Thank you! I can now pose them facing outward. Now why didn't I think of that?

Quaralane: Biskup found the solution!

Cobraleader: See above!
