there.
Mine have been hoarded over the years while I was single
and only paid rent as my only expense. You'd think I
would have thought about retirement,eh? Lol.

Love these threads!

My stash is easily half of what it was 2 months ago. It was out of control (for me) and it was affecting my desire to even building anything. It was just suffocating and depressing to look at. I am finding as I get older I just can't work around clutter which is odd as I am in no way a neat freak.

Another major factor was that one of the shelves holding my stash let go and crushed about 5-6 finished models below it. They were total write offs. I took that as a good sign to clear things out. ;D

So I went through it and took no prisoners. It was really hard, but its been like a weight off my shoulders doing it. I will probably go through it again and could stand to get rid of 10-12 more kits.

I got rid of all my German stuff except one and a bunch of other stuff I wasn't going to build. Focusing on modern and allied/commonwealth subjects.

So here it is. This is about 95% of it. It does not include and WIP or shelf queens.

Hey Spud.

She is 1/25th scale. I plan to start it in the new year.

Its as old as I am (37) and is still a great kit. Has a full interior. Its one of the better 1/25th kits that Tamiya put out way back when.

You just need to learn how to spin it. I just walked up to her and said it is pink, and you love pink, we can build it together. That was all it took.

As for the size of my model mound, it has stopped growing since I got married. The wife and I have an understanding. Every time I buy a model, she gets a dress. And vice versa.

Dresses and Models.....I suppose if you bought her a remodeled walk in closet with a crazt amount of shoe storage she'd be obliged to give you the greenlight on 5-15 kits and accessories ;D

You can then make a secret wall to access the BatCave ( Model Storage )
