That plastic putty mask is very nice. I like using it
Haven't tried it yet, but looks promising!plastic putty mask
Yeah, great show and I liked the movie too... Kit was sent via stampede postBlue Thunder! I used to watch that show all the time when I was young(er than I think I still am).
I agree: if it's that old and in basically new condition, do not build it. He'll probably be able to sell it to a kit collector fairly easily as long as nothing happens to it like removing plastic, opening bags, etc. Buy a new one to actually build. He keeps asking me if I would build it for him. It almost seems like a sin to open the box.
I keep pointing out the value of the kit in its current state.

Recently added a 1/25 scale '85 Cutlass & 1/1 scale '86 to the work load.
Testing different shades of red for both versions.
I don't have your history with the hobby, but I feel I've seen the name in some of the other online references while searching up the Topo.Daniele Guglielmi? ISTR that name from some articles about Italian vehicles in Military Modelling long ago.
Not a bad start. The Su-57 came in from Poland, technically the only thing "new" but my stash is up to 15 unopened kits now. I'm imposing a halt for now. With 15 in waiting and another 8 that have been started and not finished, I need to focus on clearing the latter ones first.
This is my ENTIRE stash...
