SMA What's New In Your Stash?!?

The newest Tamiya kit, plus figures, decals and paint for it — all will become clear eventually :) The bottle of Tamiya cement is for the track pins on Cuckoo, because all of the glue I had is too thin and creeps between them, so I decided to buy a thicker type. The little camouflaged box is a set of British 4-gallon fuel cans from Panzer Art.

So my roofer just left after replacing aluminum fascia that got ripped off the attic gable in last night's wind storm... and there in the mailbox, was perhaps the last installment in my Italian affair!

... a 3Dprinted kit, with 3 figures!

And to top it all off, I have found photographic evidence of it in use in East Africa.

To finish my Archer SP gun, I needed tow cables with snatch hooks. When I asked elsewhere if anybody had dimensions of them, Eelke Warrink offered for a modest fee to print me some that he has put up on Cults3D. I asked him for the two I need for the model, he said he'd do a couple extra just in case …

I don't think I'll use all of these in my lifetime :)

Unfortunately the recent addition, Very Fire 1/350 IJN Yamato Deluxe has to come off the stash pile. The possible good news is someone here may add it to theirs. I posted for sale if anyone is interested. I have a bigger project in mind if you can believe it, so I must make room.

Well as a new forum member I might as well post all my stash of 10 kits.

All the stash currently are 1/32 scale aircraft which is my preferred scale while I also dabble in the odd 1/48 aircraft. I never build smaller scales. I aim to keep to under 10 kits in the stash and am therefore at my limit at the moment. Mind you, if something i want comes available.....

Ooh... a slippery slope! (from experience)

That's a fine collection of aircraft, and I see you're playing the field as to manufacturers!
The airguys might have advice on order of builds based on complexity and quality of kits if you wanna know.

While new to the forum I have built around 90 1/32 scale aircraft over the last 15 years of all brands!!

That's a nice stash.

I'm with you in principle, but the 1/32s can be too large for my cabinet. WWII fighters generally fit, like that Corsair (mine is the Tamiya -1A not the -1D), it barely fits, thinking a P-47 might not. but no jets in 1/32 will fit without folded wings. So I tend to make most kits in 1/48.

I've built (not finished yet) two of those SWS series from ZM (the 109G-14 #20 and the Raiden J2M3) they are pure joy except for fitting the wings. I've also got the Kotare Spit, but mine is the 5a, wish they made a 5b but oh well, A-wing it is with those stupid .303s. So yeah, I truly love the 1/32 size!
