I've been good at not buying a new one until I finished the one I'm working on. But after this weekend I now have a Tamiya BF 109 and this weekend I ordered a Tamiya Tiger and an Academy SBD. So now I have three in the stash. Feels good.

Don't level the lights off, if you do you will have nine.

There's a LHS I used to shop at regularly in the 1990s that recently moved to a new location, went to visit them on my lunch hour and some random CA glue adhered these to my wallet.

Clearly old and open-boxes, but sealed bags. $40 out the door not including taxes and of course no shipping...yay!

I'm concerned about the stickers on the Crusader, they are visibly yellowed. Building one is on my short list and I have the really old Monogram one in my stash already. But the raised panel lines and sentimentality of the box just turned it into a stash queen, I'll build this one instead, even if I have to get aftermarket stickers.

Maybe there should be a thread for shops/vendors/collectors to post new deals? Probably not general stock, but items on sale/discount, or folks looking to lessen their stash.

According to the ISBN number, 2004. I couldn't find any date actually printed in the book.

It's basically walkarounds of preserved/restored vehicles, so lots of good detail photos. Always beware that these are restored vehicles, of course, so if you notice something that's different than on a wartime picture, it's safest to go with the latter
