same exact experience! i remember my older brother asking why i didnt mask off the waterline etc etc... didnt even cross my mind back thenCool! I built a Titanic kit two or three times when I was 10 or 11. I remember bad painting with testers paint, and glue all over it with no seams filled every time.

To me, if every kit had exactly the same issues, that would get boring too; luckily, they always seem to come up with their own unique brain teasers to keep it fresh!that's what I like actually.
