Well, that assembly was quick and fairly smooth.

After some massaging of the wing fit I called it good.

Anybody whose built this kit before knows about this area at the lower fuselage to wing joint. Fill and rescribe is the only way...

Actually got the Vallejo metal finish applied just before Christmas. Holidays and life jumped in, now 5 months later, it's time to push this project out the door!

Five months should be enough time for metallic finish right? Anyway, invasion stripes are masked and sprayed.

Gloss clear for the decals next.

Sweet! Got this same kit last year from B&B Hobbies, SPK, WA, just before the went out of business. Looks to be a decent enough of a kit, Ruck On!

Decals done. Copied from an old 1/48 Aeromaster sheet, enlarged to 1/32 scale and printed on BMF decal paper.

Ready for final assembly and weathering.
