Not all that much at all I would think. They are hollow shells with a spinning dish in there. It's not like it's packed full of stuff. Even if it was, it's a Skyraider. I don't think a Skyraider knows what the word 'drag' means. 8000lbs and four 20s! That's a mighty big engine on her. No 'wimpy' R-2600... R-3350, that's three thousand three hundred fifty cubic inches of Tim Allen kinda grunting power. 8)

Like the lines of the 18

But that's just me!

I heard some great choices....so far ! WWII and Modern Era and even some WWI.... Naval aviation birds... If I could get my hands on This Revell Corsair Kit again.... I would build it again... It was a lot of Fun !
What about Japanese Imperial Navy? or Japanese Self Defence Forces... They got cool aircrafts....
any takers ??? I am sure someone here likes Japs A/C !!!
Right now, I am looking at my OLD Skyraider... in the same "Suez Crisis Scheme" as my Corsair and I am wondering if I will choose to finish that one.... Its a very OLD kit and in needs of TLC...
So far I am pretty glad that I entered this GB... should be fun !!!

That sounded so weird that I just had to build one…
Only problem is that there’s absolutely no information on this particular unit. There is an Italeri 1:48 scale kit for a D-day version of that particular aircraft. But the beaches of Normandy are rather far from the sands of the North African desert…
Does anyone have any information on that particular unit? Colours? Markings? Etc…
I was thinking about buying the D-day kit and paint it in a dusty yellowish desert-camo ala the British Hurricanes that operated in a ground support rule. It sure would look cool, but if it’s particularly period accurate…?
Ah, well. Who cares about accuracy? As long as it looks cool, right? My only worry is that the only review I could find of that kit was… Shall we say… Somewhat less than positive…

Are you sure F-5s served with the Navy? The F-5 was simply a photo recon version of the P-38, with all the guns removed and cameras fitted in the nose. I've never heard of them being used by the Navy, but I'm no expert on them
