Gotta get the rust out and this old shelf queen should do the trick. I spent a couple hours at the bench today, fixed few broken parts and it's ready for primer tomorrow or later tonight. The plan is a quick paint job simply to get me back in the swing of things and prep my gear for the contest build.

This one has a single red LED, yup.

I love them too. Just watched the first 30- minutes of TESB. Such great sci-fi.

Kind of reminds me why I did a couple of my more recent builds.

With paint, this should look pretty good

Thanks Q - yes exactly. A quick build to get the 'groove' back. Paint should help for sure.

Thanks John - all your fault. Reference, I'll let you know. I have some as well, have to dig it out.

Cool Scott,....that looks a beast,......everyones gone AT crazy round here!!!

Thanks for the comments guys.

Despite really wanting to crack into a new and shiny contest build I'll first follow through on this one ...to completion.

Primer down this morning - now off to do some chores.

It is nice. I did choose to slightly thin it with Tamiya thinner - it works out of bottle but I prefer just a hair thinner. Some tough man, real tough primer.

Here's some preshading. XF1 then XF2.

Loving it!! Can't wait to see the finish.

What is the Badger primer like? Acrylic?

Thanks. Yes acrylic and tough as nails. Video about it in the can, live in a few days.
