Panther G MAN Charlottenburg scrapyard 1945

Hi Keith the foam is Xps Styrofoam and the surface is very fragile you can water down PVA glue and paint over the foam this will harden the surface ready for paint but I just prime the foam with tamiya acrylic black then I spray two very light coats of a automotive plastic primer let this dry then apply your base colour.

Hope this helps

Made some more progress on the base cobblestones painted washed and grouted ready for the final dusting and earth effects i also scratched some bits a pallet with some scrap ready for salvage more bits will be added then i moved onto building some building aids such as Acro props and a stand as this model is around summertime 45 i wanted to add some bits that could of been used in the clean up and restoration of Berlin the Acros need some detailing before painting can start.

hope you like it :-\

The 'grout' is acrylic medium , PVA ? ???
Placed so not to occlude the surface texture ?

Sorry for not replying sooner to your questions the grout i used is the same you would use for floor tiling just i add some PVA glue to make it more workable hope this helps you all

As always thanks for your comments

Stunning details...camo pattern looks excellent as well as the weathering!!!! Diorama looks amazing too!!! I really like how you did the base with the camo pattern. That is just wicked.
