Got the base color on tonight (Tamiya Brown and Hull Red) then an Alcald Clear Coat Flat.

Now I have to decide what the primary color should be. Suggestions? I'm probably not going to go the camo route.

Sprayed a couple light coats of AK's Worn Effects, sprinkled the salt and resprayed at a lower PSI to hold it in place.

Then I put on Tamiya's XF-60 Dark Yellow as my main color.

And here he is with salt removed. Chipping comes next!

Very nice work so far. Great to see more Ma.K on the forum. Maybe I missed it, but are you going to include a pilot in this suit? Any plans for a base? Keep up the great work

Funny you should mention the pilot and base, that's my next update.

Pilot = no. I chickened out and was scared to tackle the face (my first), so I've dirtied the visor to hide the fact he's missing.

Nice work, how will you do the chipping?

I've been scrubbing away mostly with a little warm water, iso alcohol to loosen more, and a toothpick. Just stiff brushes isn't really getting me anywhere, as I may have waiting too long. More photos coming later on this evening.
