Hi Quaralane

This turned out good I like it.

Good luck and thanks for all the views of my work.........XXXNITRO

Thank you all very much for your comments.
They really helped we along with all of my builds

Great custom ship design. I really like the profile. You were right to get rid of the "Neck".
Years ago, a friend of mine bought me the Excelsior version of this kit. I made a kind of Fast Frigate/light Destroyer ship of it. I did away with the secondary hull altogether, and turned the pilons upside down, and gave it a sort of "Reliant" profile...I wonder if he still has it. :/

i say - what a brilliant build! Thank you for the entertaining in progress videos and build! I really enjoyed following your work! I love the ship design and your decalwork!

In fact it's your fault that i found myself checking out Enterprise C and Enterprise E kits! :-\

Regarding your desasters - Sorry if i missed it but have you ever tried Mr Mark Softer and Mr Mark Setter?

or a voodoo magic homebrew: 10 parts water, 1 part white glue and 1 part matt clear - works like a breeze, prevents any silvering and the white glue helps the decal to stick to the kit! (You can add more white glue and matt clear to the mixture if you like!)

Thanks for the compliments.

As to the decal disasters, most of them were my own doing and had been worked out by the end of the build.
Never used the Mr. Mark products, but I realized that a good part of my curling issue was in that I was flooding the area where I was placing the decal, rather than just wetting it.
My own home brew actually did the job fairly well once I realized the flooding problem.

Q, this is SHARP!
Love this design - it really makes the common excelsior look more sleek and aggressive.
Awesome job, buddy! ;)
