Mobius Iron Man Lighting

I'm looking for some suggestions for lighting the Mobius Iron Man kit.
I know there is a lighting kit avaliable. However, I was wondering if there
is a tutorial using raw electronic components other than a commercially
avaliable kit.

I like to wire and solder things.

It's such a simple subject you don't really need a lighting kit. Two LEDs - one for the chest, one for the eyes - wired in parallel; done. If you can match your power supply to the voltage the LEDs need you won't even have to use resistors.

Yeah, Ziz is correct, if you use only white, blue or green LED"s you can use two AA or AAA batteries to power them without resistors. Hook them up in parallel or they won't light up very bright.

If you need a color other than white, use clear paints and paint up the white LED to get the color you want.
