Thanks very much for the comments guys

It's been hectic at work,....again,....& it'll heat up again next week,......interfering with my interests ???

....so after recovering from the last bout of overtime & late nights,...I eventually got back to the Merk

Still wheels, track,...sideskirts & chains & things to do,.....but I got some paint on her:

Definitely think the Merk is one of my favorite tanks

This one's looking really good

Very nice dude! I saw one of these at a local comp the other day and it's a great looking tank

This baby is really coming almong nicely.
The sandpaer is working out perfectly and the canvas covers look just right.
Thumbsup!

I have to admit I didn't really enjoy building this kit,.....there was warped pieces,....the small pieces on the sprues were held on with connections larger than the pieces themselves, resulting in a LOT of broken parts,...needing repaired

I don't think I'll buy another Meng model,....I have other Armour kits to build,....so I'll make a better decision after building them

Perhaps I'm just used to the superior engineering of Bandai kits

Thanks very much for looking

....all the best to all that enter

John

Looks great! I'm getting ready to put up a post in armor to use as my build thread for the Mk.I I'm entering in the Open category.

Wow John that's incredibly awesome. I have an Academy MkIV with ALL the aftermarket coming soon and this will serve as a "what to do right" :)
