Well hello everybody, i plan to make these hand draw mechas of mine and make them come to life. but I'm new in handmade models, so i would like for the community to help out in the build. i like for you to give advise, ideas, or suggestions during the process. But here are one of my mechas Kestrel but it's not finished and the second one is raptor.
i would also except any concept art for any guns you would like me to make for them, but they can't be to complex. and before i forget, they are about 6 inches if i added there feet and kestrels head.

hey everyone, i just realized some ideas for weapons. here are the types that you may draw
.RIFLEs,SHOTGUNs,SMGs,SNIPER RIFLEs,ROCKET LAUNCHERs,PISTOLs,SPECIAL GUNs, anything that makes sense that uses bullets(sorry lazer gun fans). also swords that look modern and sleek.

hey guys, i started to draw kestrel from the front. it wont be complete until later today or some other time. i also dont mind if you guys dont send drawings. just describe the gun, then i will visualize it. build will start in the middle or end of may

bad news, the part on the waist that was suppose to hold the combat blades will know be a part that will be on the top part of the sides of the legs.the reason why this is bad is because when i drew the front, the side skirts that held the blades and the second attachment point was oddly out of place. good news is that i may start the model sooner then i hoped. also, do you guys think i should sell this to you, please let me know. and dont worry, it wont be a rip off

sorry guys, i tried to draw kestrel from the front and it came out horrible. i will save the body layout for another time. so now i have to rebuild( draw really) from the ground up. sorry :-\ :'(

sorry for been dead for a while, the new version of kestrel is underway, now im going full sci fi on the series, even more ironic thing about the new kestrel is that it has a frame, now read the title of the post. ironic, but anyway now i will except any sci fi weapon that you can write down or draw for me, but wait until i have kestrel drawn out

sorry ive been gone for a while guys. i had to go back to the drawing board countless times due to me unable to make consistent copies of kestrel. so i went looking around animes with mechs for inspiration. while looking around, i stumble around a old favorite of mine, code geass. so i got some inspiration from the alexander unit. so i made a drawing similar to the knightmare frame but without the whole transformation and less complex gimmick. while at school, i made some drawings that were good, under one week span. so sometime tomorrow i will post kestrel in parts then later on draw kestrel in front, back, frame, and so on.

well I'm back, sorry for not posting this last friday. i had work to do for my finals. so here they are. i will be keeping the 1/35 scale that i had in mind, as for the series, i will add 2 more units that will look like kestrel, and make other enemy units. now the series will take place on a race type of area. it's ether race or die. but anyway i will have to put this on hold because i'm going to mexico in about 2 weeks and i want to build it completely in front of me, so sorry about that. now enjoy the pics

i just i had a idea guys, i would like for you (yes you) to give me ideas to what you would like to see for the light frames.
there are 3 types of units in each team. a leader, a heavy, a agility or special. so give me a name per unit, there abilities and there name as a team. (heres a example) kestrel, lancer, penelope. info:Unknown/new team. team name: Gamma.
now get craken, if you want to do this. if not i guess you guys just hate me

Hi there, man!
I must confess, that I have almost zero idea of what this is, but nice pics anyway. I've still got a bunch of notebookes somewhere on the shelves full of my similar drawings of starships I did years ago.
One thing I can recommend You. As far as I understand, this is a custom type Mecha You're developing. And, correct me if I am wrong, please, but You haven't tried building yet. What I can recommend You, is to try to build a kit "out of the box" first, before proceeding to the scratchbuilding, even a couple of them which will be better. You see, scratchbuilding requires the solid knowlege of several modeling methods, many of which You can gain by first oob building. +to that, You would gain a starter stash of the unused kit part for your future scratch, the instrents required and an overall experience in crafting, that would help You to get the desired result, bring your drafts to life properly and not to disappoint in your first scratchbuilding attempt once and for all.

i have built alot of gunpla models so i know the in's and out's so yah. and yes i have a stash of unused parts and i realized i had some experience with a few scratch built weapons and some other stuff that i don't recall. I'm trying to build it, it's just i need to finish the scaling so the 1/35 scale person may fit, but i somehow fuck up on the front and back view on the schematic. i will be posting the schematic fully done before i leave on the 26-8th of this month. a also have a cartoon pitch that i want to get in before then as well. but i understand what you mean. please let me know if you have any ideas. take care! ;D

thanks, i will work on it immediately when i come back from my vacation. i also had a neat idea on how the unit will store its equipment. it includes a disk type of thing and a piece to go in the disk. i dont know it some of the equipment would work correctly so i need to do some 3d sketches and then test it out, but when i come back!

Hey Rumors ,
Have you started construction ?
Just start building something ;D Everyone is totally different but I do WAY better constructing in 3D .

I rarely sketch stuff out anymore --- I do accurate layouts and templates / jigs etc when I need too ,, but just start building and go with the flow .
For this kinda stuff : , Not stuff clients are paying for lol ,,
Don't worry about building EXACTLY what you're trying to draw ,, just go with the spirit of the build ;D

Then get some dang pics up !! ,... and if you have the extra cash , grab some sculpting clay - you'll dig it !

i ment a 3rd person drawing, and also im leaving the us for a month in mexico starting this friday. i will work on it when i get back. also does anyone recommend me to add any gimmicks to this besides the viewable cockpit? Ex: weapons, unit etc..
hey...does anyone know where i can get a travel case so i can take my work on the go(for future purposes).
something that can hold a air compressor, airbrush, material,paint and other stuff please send me a link.
