he build so far, the kit is one that should have an electric motor so not too much interior detail, just my own cobbled roll cage. This also has 'Stickers' no slippery decals, so one chance to get right with placement! Big lamps and bull bar on the front. The roof rack is just placed at present and will be permanently attached at the end!

Unfortunately an electric motor model so little interior. Plus the stickers, not decals are thick plastic and are difficult to conform to the body shape.

I always thought rally cars more interesting... I guess that as a kid I could imagine driving one, and I liked the idea of wayfinding and navigating in addition to the extra cross-country kit!

Somehow more accessible than the mega-bucks formula extravaganzas.

Nice work on the Bug. My wife used to drive one and I used to have a Westfalia. I built the Revell Champion Spark Bug as a kid. Wish I could build that one again.

Thanks Tommergun. We had five Beetles in the family overtime. My wife and I had three and our youngest son had two, one Cal-Look and one a 1954 Karmann convertible! This is Mathews car we renovated at home.

The American headlights had the indicators in the bottom of the chrome rims.
