Just found the forum and youtube channel and really liked the sounds of it so here I am.
I used to build models when I was a lot younger, making do with the few paints and tools I had... more recently I've been flying radio control, but as with the economic state of things, I now have a lot less work and a lot more free time, so decided to get back to scale models.. I will use the excuse that my 2 year old son will love seeing them to convince my better half HEHE
At least this time I will have the cash to invest in better supplies, and the confidence to actually use my airbrush on a model rather than for just playing around!!
At least nowadays youtube exists, when I last build a model, the internet involved a phone line, lots of noise and a long wait for everything! Now I can actually LEARN to do the things I've always wanted to try rather than just painting up a "manual-perfect" model.
Looking forward to getting involved!
My first two planes are already on the way! a 1/32 spitfire and an a29 super tucano (the same as one of my RC models)
Feel free to have a look!

In this set, mine is the red MX2.
