F-16 CJ Block 50 -Tamiya 1:72

I have been away from model making for what feels like an eternity. I am making progress on Tamiya F-16. I am going to makings from the 100th Anniversary of the Polish Airforce. "The Raven". I used quinta studios in the cockpit. I included the pilot and I am doing it "wheels up"

In my limited experience, I found the F-16 body style several times easier to paint than some other planes.

Quick update. I have started painting the Raven on this. I put it on too thick, which I thought might happen. That is why I did the underside first.

For jets, there are a lot of twin engine, twin stabilizer which makes it harder. If I knew I was going to do this scheme when I started, I would have left some parts off.

It was a mask I purchased.

Thick or not, you've done well on painting that pattern on. That looks like it was rather difficult to pull off.

not quite yet. I was doing more masking on the top last night. The top stencil is much more complicated.

no. I just binned it. The paint masks got damaged and I did not want to order more, or start over

you should keep it around for a paint mule , at least
