Tricky wiring you say?

Looks like Serenity had her guts blown out!

close up of the wires soldered in place and lovingly coated in epoxy to eliminate any chance of wires touching!

Now here is something I really wasn't expecting to do: One LED stopped working, so I had to dig it out and solder a new one in its place! I'm just happy that I didn't damage any wiring during this little adventure!

I am so happy that part is out of the way! I was really worried that I would have fried the circuit card with an electrostatic shock when I cut it down! I had no easy way to test it until I had the wires connected!

But now I can concentrate on getting the rest of the ship finished (and the Delica!)

Serenity is just about ready to head into the black, so I've started on building a base for her,

An Ikea picture frame, a sheet of styrene, some paint and a tally plate from Qmx!
