I just completed the Hobby Craft 1/48 P-40 F/L kit. Completed in about

two months and is OOB 'cept for the Eduard seatbelts. This the first of a collection I plan to build of the aircraft used by the Tuskegee Airmen. The 99th Fighter Squadron deployed to North Africa and their first combat was during Operation Corkscrew using P-40's. I attempted to really dirty this one up since these aircraft were received second hand and operated from the dry, dirty airfields in North Africa.
 
Very nice... and North Africa!
When I get more of my softskin vehicles done, this would be a great kit to add to the stash!

I like that you left the option to have canopy open or closed.
