G/M ALL well here are a few more build pics here a shot of the gatlin gun bay an i fitted a hinge to the hatch cover but with the gun fitted in the hatch cover would not fit so out with the small dremel an grindin bit fitted an ground out the hatch cover till it was a lot thinner an then it fitted lovely over the gun an a 2mm led fitted in to light up the gun

AN ABOVE i cut out a engine cover an fitted two hinges with a 2mm white led to light up the engine when all togeather as the big wing above would make this area very shaded an dull so the light fitted lit up the engin only done the show side though as it was a job to make the hatch cover bend so it would fit inline with the fusalarge

WELL the ole laptop wont let me post anymore pics today bloomin annoyin so it looks like i will soon have to buy another laptop as this is windows 10 an now on the way out so will have to buy a windows 11
soon but i'll press on if it will let me to post some more pics tomorrow or later today hopefully

HI Kevin thanks im gld you like them as it took a bit of doin to get the lights at about the correct level as had to swop the resistors arond

G/M ALL here MORE PICS fitted in the micro eletric plug so it can take power from the bottom fusealarge section to the top fusealarge for the A/C LIGHTS an FORMATION LIGHT built in both tail verticals an on the port tail it has a red A/C light glass which was only 3mm by 2mm an as i was holdin it in my twezers it went ping an flew off into the unknown on the to the carpet monster an i spent 2 hrs on my hands an knees lookin for it but no joy as i used a big peice of clear sellotape
well i was fumein an the air was blue so i gave up an thought i'll have to make it out of a bit of clear sprue then it happened dont know how but in my new swiffel chair i somehow over ballanced an fell back wards an i put out my arms to save myself an still holdin the sellotape i hit the floor an well to my utter amazement when i managed to get up i looked at the sellotape an there stuck to the tape was the tiny bit of A/C LIGHT to fit on the port side tail so i held it in my finger an gluded it in place so i dint lose it anymore ( PHEW) AN BELOW now fittin on the tail veticals

AN HERE both wings fitted with their 2mm leds nav lights already to fit to the fusealarge an then ive got to connect the wires up to the posative an negative terminals on a mirco eletric plug to jion up with the main ones in the fusealarge an in this next pic ive fitted lights in the main landing gear to light up the underside of the plane as its goin to be a dark area due to the size of this model an a shot of the under side of the fusealarge to show that open an closein engine cover

utter amazement
Hahaha, great story about the prodigal part that just wanted to be found! What are the odds?!

Though as an aside, I have actually taken a similar sized piece of sprue and flung or dropped it in the general direction of a part that flew, just to narrow down the search area.

Good idea with the cellotape!
I suppose one could 'borrow' the wife's lint roller to similar effect! ;)
Just remember to put it back!

YES Barley what are the odds of me gettin that part back like that i think id have more chance at the lottery lol an jen has a roller for her black velvet coat but she wont let me use it on the floor -carpet an yes if i lose any small part now to the capet monster i use a big bit of 2 inch wide cellotape as stickin it to the floor it picks up all sorts an our cat lilleys hairs like wono
