So, on to my next project....the Bandai AT/ST. I've seen so many different fantastic versions of this, so I've used some of those ideas on my own build. I began by slowly painting assemblies with a coat of black MIG primer as I want most of the cracks and crevices to contrast quite dark. On a side note....after a bit of research I found the translation for the main body paint call outs in the instructions (45% White, 45% Neutral Gray, 5% Black, 5% Blue) I found this to be way too dark for my taste...thoughts?
Anyway, I cut off the pilots arms and repositioned them using milliput and super glue.
Then began work on the base using sticks, rocks and real soil, then topping and dressing with some HO scale trees and shrubbery. I still plan on one other large tree and I would like to have the walker stepping into a small stream or puddle. More to come.........
Thanks for looking!
Comments and suggestions are very welcome!
