You know if everyone googled for the info then we wouldn't need these forums would we. These forums let fellow modelers ask questions and get ideas on how others do something. I would ask why are you here or do you enjoy making sarcastic remarks if you do I you might look into Tictok or Facebook just saying Happy ModelingAll you had to do is Google it yourself. It's not hard…
I would add that depending on the specificity of the question, Google can be a never ending loop of non-answers. More often someone here has seen the same issue or even built the same kit and will perhaps have a better understanding of the question. Also, there is the opportunity to have a back and forth with an individual member in a timely matter. You know if everyone googled for the info then we wouldn't need these forums would we. They go in between each exhaust manifold runner. Thats why if you look at pictures of real motors. They have heat sleeves to stop them from burning/melting.Am I too late to install these with any ease? Do the cables go under the valve covers?

I don't do Facebook nor Tik Tok…. both are a waste of time when I can spend time building models instead. Facebook is fine for those who want to keep in touch with friends and family. Tik Tok is another site filled with too much stupidly and liberal BS.You know if everyone googled for the info then we wouldn't need these forums would we. They are 17" 1:24. I was told the Nova had 14" wheels? What in the world scale are those. I'm guessing the model is 1/25 scale.

Maybe soak the rope in a 50/50 PVA water solution to soften it, then shape it and allow to dry.I want to simulate some tie-downs using this cord I found. The scale might be a bit large. I'm not sure how to fasten it to the bed. I had an elaborate idea to somehow harden the cord with some goo on a jig to the proper angle and have the cord just lay on top. Or just wrapping the crates and call it good. I want it to look decent in photos, of course. Is there any tips on weathering the "rope"?
I do not want to try and fashion any hooks for inside the bed. I could not get them even close to realistic and would only ruin a fine project.

PVA, like Mod Podge?Maybe soak the rope in a 50/50 PVA water solution to soften it, then shape it and allow to dry.
Maybe add a tiny amount of black or grey paint to the mix which will weather it at the same time. Pantherman
White glue, I use it for fitting clear parts. PanthermanPVA, like Mod Podge?
