Well, it looks as if I just found the coolest, yet very unknown, distributor of some very accurate paint colors. Anybody ever hear of AKAN paints? Word on the street is they are the most accurate colors for Russian subjects. If you're into Russian, check these guys out!

I meant tempatation for Adam...I'm gonna stick with 1:48.

I broke down to temptation, I ordered a 1:48 Airfix AH-7 from my LHS, I'm sure the KittyHawk AH-1Z kit won't be far behind it.

Now we just need someone to step to the line and build this;

and all the major scales will be covered (1:35 is pretty close to 1:32 after all).

So now I want to buy a helicopter...

I don't know about that. Follow my logic;

John likes to build Star Wars.
Star Wars has spaceships.
Spaceships are rockets (of a sort).
The Huey has rockets.
The Huey is like Star Wars (they both have rockets), so John must like it...
Therefore John likes to build helicopters (maybe).

Second thought, might not be a totally convincing argument...

Which I almost built for this contest, 1/72 from Zevda But with the state of the house, I couldn't find it. :'(

I think Scott was referring to the dinosaur rather than the egg, the egg was just an added bonus as I used the term 'egg me on' which is the same as 'cheer me on' or 'persuade me' lol
And the dinosaur reference for those that don't know came about because me and DanB's joint diorama got beat at the weekend at our local show by a dinosaur. Now back to the helicopters....I've just bought one lol

I promise that I'll get some pictures of the plastic up today. I just checked the tracking on my shipement of paint that I ordered yesterday and it'll be here today. Yup, thats right TODAY! So, I'll take picutures of it all.

Hey guys, as promised, I did open up the plastic today and took a peak inside. I also already received the paint I ordered yesterday! Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

There's a lot of plastic in the box and it looks massive. Main body is around 21 inches long or Somethin crazy like that. I need to hurry up and start soon. LOL.
