I've made a paint mask using .6 mil acetate sheet on a Cricut machine. It's about 3" x 2" size in the photo.
I think it turned out pretty good after hours of trial and error with different materials, but I'm wondering if anyone has used acetate masks, and if I'm going to find out, when i get around to painting, that it bleeds like heck or something?
I only use acrylic paints, so there's no danger of melting the acetate or anything.

I haven't used acetate masks, but I'd say you can probably get a good impression of whether paint might bleed under it by putting it on the model. Does it stick to the model of its own accord? If so, then you probably don't have much to fear. But if you need to tape it down, you'll have to try and get it as flush as possible before spraying.
