Hi,
I see many guys home brew AB cleaners by mixing windshield washer, water, IPA and glycerine. I've also brewed a small batch to try and worked good for me on acrylics. Now i have a question, what type of windshield washer will be better? Some includes antifreeze some not. I know that antifreeze icludes propylene glycol, will it increase effectiveness of cleaning acrylics?

Propylene glycol is used as a retarder .
It has no use in a cleaning mixture .
It's used to lower the freezing point in windshield wiper fluid .

Acrylic resins are easy to dissolve .
Alcohols and ketones make short work of it .

I think they put glycerine to lubricate needle and nozzle, by the way what's the difference between propylene glycol and glycerine?

Thanks. I saw some lubricant products that people lubricate their needles after cleaning. I'm not sure but it was iwata or badger.

Yeah .
Makes no sense to me .
I've never used any lubricants on either of my airbrushes since I see no need and they still operate normally after all these years .
... I guess if you want lube in the coatings you're spraying it's a good practice .
