A Tale of Three Shermans

Posting a Proof of life showing that I’m still plugging away on this…so ever slowly. ::)
Added a few details to the front plate and the additional armor plates to the front of the turret then “welded” them up with Magic Sculp epoxy putty. Lastly I added the engine deck filler area. This Item is 3D printed in resin from Click2Detail . This company has several interesting Items, mostly U.S. subjects, which are made to order. Also check out Shapeways for more Sherman goodness!! ;D

Thanks guys for your nice comments

Spud; Click2Detail and Shapeways are only two places I know of for now that are porviding 3D printed parts. I'm sure there are others or soon will be. This is the future of the hobby!! 8)

Big-J; I'm happy with the way the welds have come out thus far but man it take forever to do, almost burned me out a couple of times ;D

I'd like to know how that 3D part compares to the rest of the model. Taking paint, sanding, and the like.
