Zap-A-Gap update.
It works nicely sealing and covering gaps. It's similar to super glue gel, but has a slightly thinner consistency making it easier and allowing time to work with.

I need_want to remove the bomb hanger and the fuel tank, but since it's been 27 years I cannot remember if it's Testors glue or super glue.
Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with the typhoon, used several washes of alcohol which loosened some of the glue. Had to gently get a blade into the joint in the end, some came away with the pins intact but others broke off so I took photos to remind me of what went where. Pantherman

That's OK I'm going to repaint the whole thing.

Slow but steady. I've stripped most of the parts off – landing gear, pilot, bombardier, seats, etc.
I removed all of the masking tape to check for leaks, and there are a few here and there to touch-up.

I did some touch-up wor, and I painted buttons in the cockpit.
Now it's time to paint the detail pieces like the seats, and other parts.
