1/48 B-17G Chowhound

Well my friends the end is coming closer.

The seams are cleaned up. They are resprayed the base colors. The De Icing boots are painted. Overspray has been cleaned up. (I think)

Some pictures prior to a gloss coat and then decals.

What are you using for a back drop? I need to find something better than the two big sheets of tissue paper I used today :-\

This backdrop is one I purchased online. It is a 48" cube.

No no wing work this time around. There is a ton in the wing and this build was intended for a different purpose.

Decals.

We have markings on Chowhound. They were a bit fiddly and took several sessions with decal solvent to get them to snug down but they are on.

Impressive paint work buddy. I think you are finally get the hang of this modeling business, HA! Pretty funny, whooaaa? Just hackin on ya Joe, just hackin. I like the faded look, came out pretty sweet like and thangs.
