Tamiya paints are notoriously bad for hand brushing. You can get away with it for small touch up areas. I am incredulos about tales of people who say they can pull it off. For handbrushing I use vallejos--those are really the only acrylic paints those don't create an eyesore after handbrusing.

Very unusual paint scheme-it really catches the eye. I had a question that is unique about this paint scheme. There really is not a base color becase the blue and tan are about half and half. Should he use the same filter for the blue as for the tan, or try and go half and half on this?

Sadly it does not. It includes some of the hoses-maybe the later cleaners, but not the early ones.

I am working on Rommel's command car which features brown leather seat and bench cushions. I will use vallejo's brown leather, but obviously it should not stop there. What sort of techniques can I use, such as pigments or drybrushing, to give it more depth. Thanks.

Filters are a shade of the base coat applied after the base coat. You can make your own btw, with oils and mineral spirits. I don't see a need to buy filters or washes if you have a stable of basic oil colors, except for colors difficult to create (such as sandgelb). If you are doing a 43...
