The kit has a lot of good molded in details and not a lot of flash. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the rigging, mainly because I have never done rigging before.
How bad can it be?? Haha. I have only done one of these biplanes and gotta say I did not enjoy the rigging! Also did not enjoy trying to attach the upper wing- that is much more tricky than the rigging.

This is is falling together. No flash, excellent fit, great details.

The interior is almost non-visable when the fuselage is fitted together so I decided to leave the decals on the instrument panel rather than try to correct the position.

Got to slow down but the engineering on this new tooled kit just says bring it on. Pantherman

I just built most of the engine. Here is a warning for Roden models, they fo fit well only minor sanding necessary but locator pins...forget it. They are either none existent or incredibly small.

Looks like I'm late to the party......
This will be my first build from Eduard.

I am very happy they supplied stickers for the camo pattern for the wings. I am going to model the one on the left.

After opening the box, I wish I would've gone with a 1/32 scale instead of the 1/48. Looks a fun project anyway.

Broke open the bag with the Staggerwing in it. Was going to go with the I-135 "Chaika" fighter, but I ordered the wrong scale 3D decals. 🤣 🙃

Anyway, I'll start with the Beechcraft for now, and see how it goes. Looks pretty simple (except for the rigging)

Some of the parts will need some serious flash cleanup, though.

Wow! You're right. I haven't seen flash like that in a long time.

I have the internal sub assemblies built and primered. It didn't take long! 😆
So far I'm impressed with the quality of this Eduard kit. Nice detail for the scale, and almost no flash at all.

Starting this build prompted me to dust off the DVD player. I'm going to re-watch this oldie but goodie tonight, the aircraft get alot of screen time.

Got the primer done on various components and right now working on the instrument panel. Trying something new, for me at least. Clear instrument panel so I put the decals on the back upside down. We'll see if it works.
