I found a forum with a lot of different schemes for the Prinz Eugen. I think I'll go with this one from the Battle of Denmark Strait which leaves off the swastikas and is simple enough for this small scale.

Heck of a good job. I tried the Revell Pennsylvania and Prinz Eugen and never finished them because of all the flash and miss molded parts. These were later releases when the molds were past their prime. I build the Alabama as a kid and it went together well.

That's why I switched to lacquer. I make enough mistakes on my own I don't need failed paint adding to the mix!
I usually dont have a problem with the Createx AutoBorne sealer when I do proper prep, which I did. However, I sprayed this in a hot garage, and upped the pressure because it was drying fast, so that might have been why.

Sounds likely. I live in Az and I have to limit my airbrush to early morning or at night now. Last summer I was spraying in the house. I'm hoping not to move back into the house this year. We'll see. I may buy an ac for the garage.

Finished with the USS Arizona. At only 10" this thing is small. I decided that because of the small size, weathering will be at a minimum. I tried using some watercolor pencils on the deck to add some variations, but I don't really like how it came out. I tried to build her in the configuration and paint her in the colors she would have been at Pearl Harbor, although I've seen a lot of variations on that scheme.

Now, on to the USS Massachusetts.

What's the hardware you used for mounting? That looks cool.
