Okay earlier today, or yesterday counts. But what are you messing with that might not warrant a new thread?

I'll start, all three of these have been progressed in the last ~36 hours.

Modelling-wise, I'm working on improving my modelling room by re-arranging where I keep my paints. Which lead to re-arranging another corner as well, and once that's done I will re-arrange another part because stuff that's there now will go into the re-arranged corner

Been slowly working on a large scale Blue Thunder. Currently in rivet hell LOL.
Applying 1 rivet at a time. I think it will look great, but I'm never doing rivets again!

I'm making some rigging for my IOWA. Using black thread stiffened with white glue.
I don't like the rigging I bought for it, diameter was too small.
I'm liking the look of the thread so far.

Experimenting with an easy setup backdrop for cleaner build pics.

Also gonna put grommets in the 6 coloured sheets to hang them on the wall, and hopefully the roll marks will work themselves out.

For that, you need lights from the sides as well as from above. A ring light at the front is also a good addition, but not as necessary.

My setup is like this:

This is a folding photo studio (but set up permanently in my modelling room), with lights above and on each side, shining through the white fabric so the shadows aren't as harsh. The lights on both sides point up somewhat, which also helps reduce the harshness of the shadows. Also, these are white lights, not blueish like your fluorescent tube probably is.

I take photos through the ring light at the front, which I added because Aldi had them cheap a few years ago — the flexible mount I bought for it cost more than the light did

I will keep experimenting until I find the sweetspot!

Simple, but a game changer, especially as I cut sprues so that they'll fit in my ultrasonic bath.

Taking five minutes to label them saves time and frustration during the build: frustration better spent on real problems!

I generally do that too, particularly when the label on the sprue is small or inconsistently located. Some manufacturers (Meng) put giant labels on theirs, in those cases I use a sharpie right on the plastic to make it more visible. But I've not made a holder for them, I just alphabetize them and lean them against each other.

You can just make out the stickers in the top-left background. I was using them as measurement for the PC graphics to make to send to the vinyl cutter.
